School Uniform

St James PTFA run a Uniform Exchange Service, offering pre-loved uniform to members of our school family.

Please contact the PTFA via email (ptfastjamesdaisyhill@gmail.com) with details of what you need, and they will let you know if they can help; this service is completely free of charge and designed to promote re-use and recycling.

Hair

We have an expectation of sensible and appropriate haircuts. Long hair should be tied back neatly. All hair accessories must be of a reasonably small size and must be green or white. Children are also not allowed to wear any nail varnish in school.

Jewellery

Our preference is that children do not wear earrings for school as it is possible for them to cause accidents and injuries during playtimes etc. However, if parents wish them to do so, children will be allowed to wear one small stud earring per ear on non-PE days only. Earrings must be very small, round and either white or gold metal. Children will not be allowed other shapes or colours. They may also wear transparent rubber/plastic sports type earrings.
